Conference Welcome Reception

The conference reception will take place on the first day at the end of the sessions at the Dome Cafeteria at NDU. During the reception, drinks and bites will be served. Music students will be delighted to perform jazz and light oriental music while you make new acquaintances. Please be advised that the reception is not seated.

Admission: admission is free for all conference participants and accompanying persons but requires confirmation during the registration process due to limited places.

Conference Banquet

The CS2 conference banquet will take place in the prestigious Le Royal Hotel not far from the NDU campus. Transportation to the hotel will be provided from the conference venue. The banquet is an opportunity to continue discussions on the conference themes but also to socialize and enjoy the evening. The banquet is a seated dinner with limited places, so please reserve your place during the online registration. Lebanese cuisine will be served. An evening not to be missed!

Admission: conference participants and accompanying persons could choose to attend the banquet against a fee of US$70 paid during the registration process. This fee covers a seated dinner and transport from NDU to the banquet venue.

Music Performance

Students from the Music Department at FAAD will perform for your delight durign the opening ceremony, the reception and the banquet. They will play jazz and blues, and light Lebanese music.


The Notre Dame University International Film Festival was founded to support young filmmakers with a chain of festivals, to make their films seen by a large audience.

The dates of CS2 correspond to a yearly event that includes people from Lebanon and abroad in an exceptional experience of a car-free Beirut: the Beirut Marathon. Participants in the conference have this unique opportunity to be part of this experience. For more information visit
