The Degree of Master of Science in Mathematics

The purpose of the M.S. program in Mathematics is to prepare students for continued advanced study of mathematics, college teaching, or certain jobs requiring an in- depth understanding of mathematics.

Admission Requirements
In addition to the general graduate admission requirement set by NDU- Louaize graduate school, candidates are expected to have a sufficient background in mathematics. Those who do not meet these requirements may be given provisional admission pending satisfactory completion of a set of graduate courses. The credits earned for these courses will not be counted towards the 33 credits required for the degree of Master of Science in Mathematics.

Graduation Requirements
To satisfy the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Mathematics, the student must complete a total of 33 credits with an overall average of at least 3.0/4.0.
